Med 1 stjerne 24. september 1943: For mot og besluttsomhet som leder av en 4-løpet «pom-pom» under jageren «Glaisdales" kamp mot overlegne fiendtlige styrker i Kanalen 10.7.43.
Med 2 stjerner august 1946: for å ha utvist dyktighet og initiativ om bord i u.v.b Utsira under dennes krigspatruljer på Norskekysten vinteren 1944/45.
