    "To be employed as Crewman at Shetland or Burghead Base., as from 23.3.1943."

    Ønsket å dra til England tidligere under krigen, men ble ikke til det før i 1942. Ankom Kjesæter i Sverige 6. oktober 1942. Skogsarbeid frem til 8. februar 1943. Deretter:

    "When he was called to Stockholm and asked by Captain REIMERT of the Naval Attache's Office if he wished to go to England, he said that he did and was then sent on to Consul NIELSEN at the British Legation.
    NIELSEN told him that if he was prepared to accept a dangerous job which would consist of assisting to sail boats between Scotland and Norway, he could go over to England straight away. Ovesen accepted at once and assuring NIELSEN that he was perfectly prepared to accept any risks involved."

    Forlot Sverige 28. september 1942. "Arrived: Leuchars 27.2.43. ex 'plane G-AGDE."
