  The National Archives, Kew: HS 9/1104/3:

  "Served in the Norwegian Forces in Scotland for 13 months. No previous Army service. Went to Ordinary School for 7 years, then to Commercial School for 6 months. He then went into business. Came to England in a fishing boat and arrived at Shetlands on 10th March 1941."

  Notat datert 21.1.44:
  "This is a Norwegian student who has done paramilitary training and been on the Carhampton operation."
