    "[...after D/S Beto...] He stayed in Cardiff but I’m not sure for how long․ I believe at some time after this he went on to stay in London and worked in the Smithfield Meat Market․ From London he came to live in Kingston upon Hull on the north east coast of the United Kingdom․ He married [...], Phyllis West and [...born a child...] October 1948․ [...After the war...] he sailed on the Abbey Boats out of Hull to Rotterdam which made regular ferry crossings there and back․ (Melrose Abbey and Bolton Abbey)․ [...] He also worked for various manufacturing companies in Hull during his time here․ [...He...] died on the 9th November 1969 at the Hull Royal Infirmary".
