"INGEBRIGTSEN was born in 1911 in Tjøtta and received his education at Skogsholm Folk School leaving in 1926. Thereafter he worked with his father as a fisherman and seal hunter. He was thus occupied until his departure for this country. [...]
During the invasion of Norway in 1940 he assisted in the transport of Norwegian and British troops in nothern Norway, but was not a member of the armed forces."
