Skrevet november 1945: "Q/M ANGELVEIDT has served at a secret SHETLAND Base since 26th December 1941. As Senior Petty Officer of the engineering workshop he has worked tirelessly, first to master the American Pancake Diesel engines, which were unknown in this country before the three Subchasers were taken over by the Unit in August 1943; and subsequently to maintain them in such a condition that only one operation has had to be abandoned on account of engine trouble. He is also an expert on Norwegian fishing boat engines, and his advice and skill in this matter have been of great value in the fulfilment of the Admiralty commitment for the maintenance of these craft."
