  They were not able to find the service record of Olaf Tømmerås in their archives. If he lived in the Netherlands during the war, it’s not likely that he sailed for the Dutch allied Merchant Navy. The Dutch allied Merchant Navy operated from outside the Netherlands and the ships weren’t calling at Dutch ports.
